Gull River

The Gull River which today flows quietly through the Village of Minden, Ontario, once rang

with the shouts of lumberjacks as they floated massive white pine and other timber to the

mills to the south.  In the early spring, shouts can still be heard along the banks of the

Gull River, coming from the excited kayakers participating in the annual white water

kayaking competitions. This is an original oil painting using palette knife and  brush,

by Richard Robinson. This painting is available as a Giclee print on acid-free

archival paper or canvas.
